2020
After growing up in the construction industry and successfully completing his Surveying Degree, Klay Andrews applied his knowledge to build Grafton Brickwork Services, offering exceptional services, expert advice, and a personal touch that the industry needed.
2021
Just 1 year after launching, Grafton Brickwork Services proves how much their personal touch and small-business feel were needed within the large-scale construction industry. With turnover reaching over £500,000 and the on-site workforce growing to 40. Their knowledgeable management team knew how to keep both clients and their team motivated.
2022
With 2022 being a record year for new construction projects launching in Great Britain, Grafton Brickwork took full advantage and developed relationships with new Contractors to ensure they would be at the forefront of any new opportunities. Grafton Brickwork Services saw a huge increase in repeat clients, with overseas clients as well as expanding within the UK. This further validated their consistent efforts to provide an unbeatable service.
2023
By 2023, Klay saw the potential and realised their workforce could take on a new sector within the construction industry, enabling smoother work for their clients. This is when they began their partnership with an external scaffolding company, merging their services to create a single team that could effortlessly meet project requirements and timelines.
2024
Grafton Brickwork saw the potential within their internal management team and prioritised growth to succeed. This meant investing in apprentices and ensuring they had the skills and knowledge to work so closely on the projects and fully understand all aspects of the brick and blockwork packages. This meant that 3 new apprentices and Trainees were now part of Grafton Brickwork Services. This proved to pay off, as it led to winning the Brick Awards 2024 Architect’s Choice Award.
2025
After 5 years within the industry, Grafton Brickwork Services has grown to become a reliable and professional sub-contractor. Our main focus is now upon improving and enhancing our quality management systems. We have implemented new procedures to ensure the highest quality is adhered to, securing multi-year schemes with tier one contractors and continuing to work with repeat clients. Grafton Brickwork Services is still growing within the construction industry and is welcoming new work, new clients, and new services.
